What backup options exist on Nanacast?
How is data backed up? How often?
If an unscrupulous webmaster deletes all memberships, can they be restored?
I understand there is a staff feature in Viral premium. Just curious about disaster recovery.
Internet Business Ideas (Nanacast.com parent company) follows standard industry practices and backs up on a daily basis from our data center.
In addition, you can backup your own data with the use of our export feature… under Manage >> Memberships/Products, etc.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find an “Export Content” button. You can export your data as often as desired.
You could then use the Import Membership link at the top of the page to import content. (Keep in mind, however, that the import process creates a new instance of a membership, much like the “Copy” feature, and will not overwrite an existing membership of the same name.)
